  1. A federal judge has issued a 14 day temporary injunction against the NCAA enforcing limitations on players transferring to other schools, as part of a lawsuit filed by the attorneys general of several states asserting that said rules are an unlawful restraint of trade against the players. In addition, some college athletics officials are floating the idea of ending transfer waivers and enforcing the redshirt rule across the board. I think this is the beginning of the end of the NCAA.

  7. The CEO of HBO admitted to creating burner social media accounts to harass critics online. Between this and the MAX rebrand, what else does this guy have to do to get fired?

  8. Andre Braugher has died at the age of 61. He was great in Homicide: Life on the Street. Also, Ryan O’Neal has died. He was 82.

  9. What happens to kids’ imaginary friends after they stop imagining them? That’s the premise of the new movie IF. Watch the trailer for more info.

  10. Mark Zuckerberg is building a $100 million compound in Hawaii. Which is exactly what I would do if I had nearly $120 billion dollars.

  11. The Most Popular iPhone Apps of 2023. I have the usual suspects and none of the games or paid apps. I guess they aren’t popular with me.

  12. The 25 most-viewed articles on Wikipedia in 2023. I don’t think I looked up any of these. Maybe Matthew Perry.

  13. CJ Silvers lists out the most popular links he’s shared. That’s an interesting way to end the year. There are some awesome links there.

  14. Apparently, men cannot discern an AI image of a woman from the real thing. I don’t understand why this is a surprise.

  15. Netflix is going to start publishing a new report twice a year that details the most popular shows and movies on the platform. I really liked the first season of The Night Agent.

  16. This video reminds me of the many times my friends and I would do stuff exactly like this. So many dry creek beds jumped on my bike.

  17. Civil War looks absolutely ridiculous. The new trailer takes on that classic premise—“What if near-future America was a dystopia?” People are rolling their eyes at the Texas-California “Western Forces,” but I don’t think that’s too far off, actually. Garland has a pretty good track record, so I’ll give it the benefit of the doubt, but is this the movie we need right now? Jesse Plemons, in fatigues and hot pink sunglasses, is chilling.
