My Favorite Things on the Internet This Week

The Weekly Click

Hello internet stranger,

Welcome to The Weekly Click, a weekly (shocking, I know) updated list of interesting bits on the internet that I thought I’d share.

Happy clicking!

Online happenings that made my week.

Drew Magary provides us with a complete review of the ugliest contemporary vehicle to currently exist. I still can’t believe this vehicle is road-worthy.

F1

This is an interesting teaser trailer for F1, the racing drama starring Brad Pitt. It’s like a 90-second music video. The teaser sets up a Moneyball meets Top Gun mixed with a bit of Day of Thunder for good measure.

Email Like A Boss

This is a useful guide to emailing like a “boss” that I found on Reddit. It lists the most positive and effective ways to rewrite your messages based on your intention. My favorite is this one, which I need to start using: If your intention is to say “You’re welcome,” instead of saying “No problem/No worries,” say, “Always happy to help.”

Severance Season 2 Teaser Trailer

The long-awaited second season of one of my favorite shows, Severance, has finally set a premiere date at Apple TV+. It will return on January 17, 2025. The teaser trailer answers almost no questions about the new season, so job well done with the teasing. I’m not a fan of it taking so long between seasons of these types of shows.

Art is how we decorate space; music is how we decorate time.

“To be hopeful in bad times is not just foolishly romantic. It is based on the fact that human history is a history not only of cruelty, but also of compassion, sacrifice, courage, kindness.” — Howard Zinn
